Project description

115,000 sq ft shopping centre extension including 30 new shops and additional restaurants and cafes focused around a new public courtyard. The development marks a major investment in the shopping centre and the surrounding area, creating new public space and allowing for upgrades to surrounding council buildings.

“We’ve designed a significant retail intervention whilst maintaining a civic scale to the new development, through sensitive massing, choice of materials and integration with the extensive new public space. The proposal integrates with the surrounding urban fabric of Solihull whilst enhancing the setting of the Grade I listed St Alphege Church to the east of the centre.”
