Project description

Competition win to convert the MV Windsor Castle, recently acquired by the Royal Yacht Britannia Trust. Previously used to service the lighthouses around the entire UK coastline, the ship will be permanently berthed at Leith docks, opposite its sister ship the Britannia and is currently being stripped of equipment before being converted into guest accommodation to include 25 suites and dining facilities.

Innovations & added value

We are retaining as many of the existing materials and features as possible to put back into the accommodation, keeping the glamour and atmosphere of the ship’s nautical heritage.

In progress, scheduled to open in Spring 2016.
