Project description

A 266,500 m2 residential-led masterplan in the heart of London’s Royal Docks, providing nearly 3,000 residential units ranging in size from studio suites to five bedroom family apartments and town houses. Also proposed are shops, restaurants and cafes, commercial employment space, and community and leisure facilities.

Innovations & added value

A new marina was planned as the centrepiece of the masterplan, allowing the creation of generous waterfront public space around the marina edges. This central feature gives identity to the new district as well as radically improving the quality of the outdoor amenity and associated indoor uses fronting the waterfront space. The masterplan allows for a wide range of facilities and employment uses to meet the needs of the local population, both now and into the future.
