It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our former Director and friend, Calum MacDonald at Forth Valley Royal Hospital, Larbert on Saturday 3rd July 2021.
Calum joined 3D Architects as an architect in 1991, and quickly became a central figure in the business during the practices early years throughout the 1990’s. As a young Director and Shareholder in the 2000’s, Calum was responsible for the rapid growth of the Glasgow business and oversaw the merger between 3D Architects and Reid Architecture, forming 3DReid in 2007. He was a popular figure in the Glasgow Property and Construction scene and was regarded as an exceptional Commercial Architect.
Calum was a father figure to many within the practice, and his legacy lies within all of the people who have been part of his team over the decades.
We shall all miss him dearly, and our thoughts are with his wife Teresa, and sons Lewis, Finlay and Dugald.
