A causeway island town, promoting the use of the new tram system and cutting off the car for 16 hours a day. A town that addresses its coastal condition and engages with the water’s edge. An adapted masterplan from the existing urban grain. The suggested floorplate is removed and the routes are enhanced and inhabited. The primary grain is concrete, promoting movement from the tram station to the water’s edge. The secondary grain is lightweight timber, allowing permeability from one island to another.
