Understanding the passenger process

Airports are many things to many people. Fundamentally they are transport interchanges, but they are also complex, dynamic and constantly changing environments. Those of us within the aviation industry who perhaps spend too much of our time within terminals have a very different perception to them to that of the average passenger!

Similarly the priorities of different groups vary, from the frequent business traveller, to whom speed and efficiency are paramount, to the ‘bucket and spade’ family, who are seeking comfort and leisure facilities for the children.
